Ultimately, it is her choice in the end. I don’t think she’s doing it for the media- when hearing Lohan, people do think of her first and many people don’t even know her dad. I think it’s more of a personal thing- since she has cut ties with her father because of all the stuff he’s done to her and other people around him, she doesn’t want to have his last name anymore. It’s not about what other people think, in the end- I think she’s doing it for herself. That being said, although it would be pretty weird for a while, I’ll respect whatever she chooses to do.
